Almost, but not quite

I believe child av's can be done well, some can be adorable, but it takes a very careful hand and I'm guessing some very astute shopping choices to pull it off. I'd say 95% of the time it's a big fail. This girl seems to have some things right, for instance I appreciate that she's mostly not dressed like a mini hoochie.

Although not wearing a low-cut top that shows off your very much adult-woman cleavage would be one of the more important parts of playing a convincing child.

And the other parts would be finding some appropriate jewelry, and realizing that children who are out of toddler-hood don't use pacifiers. Especially not blinged-out ones.

The good news is I don't think her avatar is a lost cause, the hair is cute for a child and she knows how to fit prims, so change the skin for one without makeup, or one that looks more childlike and lose the bling, get some age-appropriate clothing and this avatar would be a "well played" rather than an "almost but not quite".

What next?

With that outfit, I would call her a short adult, and not child AV. Unless her title or profile listing said she was child, then she is dressed all wrong for sure. :)

@Kokoro: but why would an adult av be sucking a pacifier?

Maybe you guys should hold a contest for a non-creepy child avatar.

Same reason the ravers do I guess - drugs? Was just saying her outfit and dress was not childlike, where as the child AV's I know dress like a child. :)
